BluSmart raising $50M at $335M pre-money as EV ride-hailing scales
The EV cab operator runs 8,500 EVs and a 5,800-station charging network — now raising its Series B.
BluSmart, India's EV ride-hailing company, is raising $50 million in a Series B at a $335 million pre-money valuation — with half the round already in.
The round
- Size: $50M Series B, pre-money $335M
- Participants: existing investors, HNIs, family offices, promoters, select VCs
- Context: follows $24M from responsAbility, Sumant Sinha, MS Dhoni Family Office
- Total equity raised to date: $136M
- ARR (FY25): ~$95M (₹815 crore)
Operations
- 8,500+ EVs
- 10,000+ active driver partners
- 5,800 charging stations across 50 hubs (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru) — 2M+ sq ft
- Launched Dubai (June 2024) and Mumbai
BluSmart owns both the ride-hailing fleet AND the charging network. That's capital-heavy but gives it control over the two biggest cost centres in EV mobility: vehicles and energy.
Signal
EV ride-hailing is a capital-intensive, long-payback business — it attracts family offices and HNIs who can hold for years, not venture funds chasing quick exits.
EV fleets are becoming infrastructure assets: patient capital, predictable yield, long horizons.Advertisement
